Bio

Erwin Radjinder Angad-Gaur

Born in The Hague in 1970 to a Hindustani father and Dutch mother, Erwin Radjinder Angad-Gaur has been immersed in both music and culture from an early age. After studying Art and Cultural Sciences in Rotterdam, he joined the producers’ trio Angad-Gaur, Smit & Anneveldt in 1996. His early career saw him producing for various artists, projects, record companies, and bands.

In 2002, he embarked on a solo career with the independent release of his debut album Just Another Millionaire, followed by the DVD Homogeneous and a second album, The World. These projects established him as a distinctive voice, blending introspective, ironic, and occasionally biting lyrics with eclectic pop/rock influences.

After 2008, Radjinder shifted his focus to writing prose and became actively involved in advocating for musicians’ rights. He worked with the Dutch Musicians’ Union and co-founded Platform Makers (www.platformmakers.nl).

In 2020, he returned to songwriting, collaborating with renowned Dutch lyricist Henk Westbroek on the Boris van der Ham single Een Mooie Dag (2024) (Listen on Spotify).

Following the release of Just Another Millionaire – Re-edited & Remastered in November 2024, Radjinder continued with a series of reimagined singles throughout 2024 and 2025.

He is currently releasing new material, including the single (Only A) Businessman (April 2026), leading toward the EP Now, scheduled for release later this year.
