Joey van den Boom was born august 24, 1981 in 's-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands). He started playing keyboards when he was 6 years old. Over the years he also sang and played drums in several bands.
In 2000 Joey started a study of Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Delft. During his second year however he found that his passion for music could no longer be denied and he decided to concentrate more and more on his music.
He was accepted at the Rock Academy in Tilburg (keyboards) and became a member of Radjinder at the end of the same year.
Although he has a broad taste in music, the music of Queen is his biggest inspiration.
